Approved Human Trafficking Courses for Health Care Practitioners

March 31, 2021

“House Bill 2059, 86th Legislature, Regular Session, 2019, requires Health and Human Services (HHS) to approve training courses on human trafficking. This list will be expanded as more courses are approved. If you need assistance with any of the courses listed here, please contact the Organization below. Not all professions are required to claim continuing education (CE) credit for human trafficking courses. If you are not required to obtain CEs you may take a course below to obtain a non-CE certificate of completion, regardless of whether your profession is listed in the Continuing Education Credit/Special Note column. Please refer to your licensing board’s regulations on whether you need CEs.”
