Emily Muszynski, PsyD
MAL with primary focus on Early Career Psychologists and Mentoring
Dr. Muszynski is a clinical psychologist in private practice at Alliance Psychology. She provides psychotherapy to individuals across the lifespan, as well as families and couples. Dr. Muszynski also enjoys conducting psychological evaluations and providing supervision and training. Dr. Muszynski obtained her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from LeTourneau University and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College. She completed her predoctoral internship at UT Health San Antonio and her postdoctoral fellowship at Clarity Child Guidance Center. While Dr. Muszynski has training as a generalist psychologist, she is particularly interested in working with individuals exposed to trauma. She has received training in several trauma treatments and plans to continue growing her skills and her knowledge base in this important area. Her research has focused on alternative interventions for trauma treatment. Specifically, she completed a pilot study and program evaluation of a wilderness therapy program for trauma exposed youth. Dr. Muszynski is a member of American Psychological Association, Bexar County Psychological Association, APA Division 56 Trauma Psychology, and San Antonio Society for Psychoanalytic Studies.
